My husband and I have decided to forego the Food and Wine festival this year so that we can see the parks all decked out for Christmas. We plan to be there 12/1/09, is this a good time to see everything decorated? Thanks, Gail

I finally returned in December this year to see the parks decked out for the holidays and had so much fun and now planning for a return visit in 2009!\

The date you chose for your vacation will not only allow you to see the holidays throughout the parks but the crowds will tend to be at their lowest of the year. And the weather just might be perfect!
The decorations will be up and the special holiday shows and entertainment will have started at that date if they follow the past years time frame.  The Magic Kingdom large tree near the train station might be the one thing you won't see as that often isn't put up until after the taping of the 2009 Christmas parade.  If they are offering the Yuletide tour this year I highly recommend that for you as well. Call 407-WDW-TOUR  (407-939-8687) for information on this activity.

    Have a wonderful holiday visit!
