Moms, My husband decided on our 30th anniversary to join me on my 60th birthday trip in November. He's always wanted to do the steam train tour. How are we supposed to get there by 7:15 when the park doesn't open until 9AM?

    Hi there Rochelle,

You and your husband are going to absolutely LOVE the Steam Train Tour at Walt Disney World's Magic Kingdom Park.  This tour offers a backstage glimpse at the steam trains used on the Walt Disney World Railroad and provides lots of little known info about Walt Disney and his love of trains.  It's also really neat to get to experience the park before opening and there are many great opportunities for unique photo opportunities as well!  Sounds like the perfect way to celebrate any birthday, especially a 60th!

Early buses begin running between 6:30 and 6:45 so depending on where you are staying I'd say it's definitely possible that you could catch one of these headed to The Magic Kingdom, and still arrive by 7:15.  The safest bet, though, is going to be catch a taxi.  You can arrange one in advance by contacting the front desk of your hotel.  Most hotels even have taxis staged out front at all times.  There will be a turnstile entrance designated for early morning dining reservations and tours. You will be able to enter the park there and you'll then want to proceed to the Main Street Train Station Depot for check-in!

    Hope this helps,
