Mom and Daughter at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort Room

    This is our (my husband, DD - 4, and myself) 3rd visit, but my parents' 1st. Looking for dining suggestions. Staying Dec 5-10 @ Contemp. We are definitely doing Chef Mickey's and CRT. Wanted to try somewhere new, but wasn't sure what would be best. Thanks!

    Hi Amanda!!

    I am so excited that your parents will be going to Walt Disney World for the first time!!!  You have selected two wonderful restaurants in Chef Mickey's and Cinderella's Royal Table.  I am happy to offer some suggestions of my favorite restaurants.

    One of my favorites is 'Ohana at Disney's Polynesian Resort.  All you would need to do is hop on the Monorail at Disney's Contemporary Resort and ride a few stop until you get to the Polynesian.  This is a wonderful family style buffet with all you can eat meat options!!  That should definitely appeal to your husband and your father!!!!!  It is a very kid friendly atmosphere.  Our four year old loves it there.

    Another restaurant along the Monorail line is 1900 Park Fare at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Spa.  There are different meal options here, but we love the Supercalifragilistic Breakfast that has Mary Poppins, Alice, and the Mad Hatter.  We love the Breakfast Buffet that is offered here.

    One last restaurant I will recommend is The Garden Grill at Epcot.  This is located in the Land Pavilion, just up the escalator from Soarin'.  This rotating restaurant offers a Dinner Character Dining Experience with Chip, Dale, Mickey, and Pluto.  This is another family style meal with wonderful meal offerings.
