My husband and I have 5 day park hopper passes for a trip at the end of March. My teenage son has a 2 day park hopper pass but want to upgrade to a 5 day pass for him as well. Can we do this in advance to get an early entrance 1 day for him?

    Hi Lisa!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! We’re so happy you brought your question our way!

It sounds like you want to extend the magic of your vacation to the Disneyland Resort! Well, I can’t say that I blame you! When I visit the Disneyland Resort I never want to leave! I have great news! You can upgrade your son’s 2-day theme park ticket to any regular ticket or Annual Passport of equal or greater value. So upgrading to a 5-day Park Hopper ticket is definitely an option. To do this, stop by the Main Entrance ticket booth. A Cast Member will be able to assist you with the upgrade. Upgrades can be done in advance and that's what I recommend doing. It will allow you to head straight to the turnstiles on your first day and let the magic begin!

While you’re at the Main Entrance ticket booth, you can add Disney MaxPass to your tickets as well. MaxPass allows you to make digital Disney FASTPASS selections right from your mobile device via the Disneyland App. When you add MaxPass to Park Hopper tickets, you’ll be able to make FASTPASS selections for either Disneyland Park or Disney California Adventure Park, no matter which park you are currently in! MaxPass has saved me so much time because now I don’t have to visit individual FASTPASS distribution kiosks. I love it and I think you will too!

Enjoy five days of fun with your family at “The Happiest Place on Earth!” Please be sure to bring future questions to us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
