My husband has a 2 day park hopper pass and already used 1 day of the pass and doesn't want to go the 2nd day. Is there anyway we can give the 2nd day to my sister to use? I know on the 1st day they took my husbands picture for the ticket.

Hi there, Kristen! I'm so glad to welcome you to planDisney!

It sounds like you’ve already begun a visit to the Happiest Place on Earth! Your husband’s 2-day Park Hopper ticket grants him the most flexibility to enjoy both theme parks of the Disneyland Resort on the same day, as long as there is availability. It’s an awesome way to get the most out of a day (or two) at Disneyland Resort!

The ticketing terms and conditions do state that eTickets are non-refundable and non-transferable. Because the ticket has been scanned and assigned to your husband, it is not possible for another Guest to use it for the second day. I know this isn’t the news you were hoping for, Kristen, but I have a few suggestions for how your husband might spend this second day of his 2-day ticket.

From now through April 23, the Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival is taking place, offering limited-time seasonal bites, brews, wine, and other specialty drinks at the festival marketplaces. This past weekend, my husband and I enjoyed the IPA Sausage Dog and the ImpossibleTM Al Pastor Taco, and I highly recommend both! And did you know that Soarin’ Over California is back during the festival? I love the original, classic version of this attraction and you just can’t beat the smell of the orange groves featured in the California landscape scenes!

I also have to recommend the Magic Happens parade, which recently made its return to Disneyland Park. It’s been a crowd-pleaser for my whole family, from my preschooler to their grandparents! If there are two showtimes on the day you choose to visit, I love watching the parade at the later scheduled time because the new floats’ lighting design is more visible in the evening hours. They are really stunning!

My last recommendation, Kristen, is to ensure that you use the second day of your 2-day Park Hopper ticket within 13 days of its first use, or by the expiration date (whichever comes first). After then, you will be unable to use the remaining day on the ticket, so I’d hate for your husband to miss out on that!

I hope this is helpful and if we can offer any other suggestions for how you or your husband can spend a day in Disneyland Resort, you know where to find us again! My fellow panelists and I love sharing our recommendations for making the most of your visit.

    Wishing you Wondrous Journeys,
    Tishra
