My husband and I have 2 daughters, ages 5 and 8, and will be going to Disney World for a week in Jan 2013. We are going to be staying on site and focusing exclusively on the 4 main parks. Any suggestions for "must-see and do activities"?

    Hi, Nancy!

With so much incredible variety at the Walt Disney World Resort, it's a wonderful challenge to try to pick out the "musts" at each Park. But I'm happy to offer you my opinion on what I consider the absolute must-dos in each Park.

Magic Kingdom: Enchanted Tales with Belle in New Fantasyland. This immersive storytime attraction has a jaw-dropping beginning that will leave you breathless. Other musts include Haunted Mansion, Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin, Pirates of the Caribbean, and the Move It! Shake It! Celebrate It! Street Party. Of course, the nighttime parade and fireworks are not to be missed!

Epcot: Soarin'. Far and away an Epcot must-do. You will love hang-gliding over California! Make sure to check out the re-imagined Test Track, which is even cooler now than it had been in its first edition. Finding Nemo and Journey into Imagination are family pleasers. And do stroll the countries in World Showcase.

Disney's Hollywood Studios: Toy Story Mania! This arcade-style ride will leave you laughing! Make sure to see Lights! Motors! Action!, a stunt car show starring Lightning McQueen. And for the thrillseeker? Rock'n'Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith.

Disney's Animal Kingdom: Besides the Expedition Everest coaster, make sure to go on the Kilimanjaro Safari to see the animals up close. And don't miss Festival of the Lion King and Finding Nemo: The Musical, Broadway-caliber entertainment.

If I can help you narrow these down, drop me a line.

    Have a wonderful trip!

    See you later, celebrator,
    -Deborah B.
