fitness center during my
Disney Vacation Club stays. Now, let’s serve up an answer to your questions on pickleball lessons!
Margaret, you’ll be happy to know that several DVC Resorts offer free pickleball clinics at Walt Disney World. During my most recent visit to
Disney’s Boardwalk Villas a week ago, I noted on the resort activity calendar that they were offering a pickleball clinic on Friday mornings. This clinic includes an introduction to the basics of pickleball where you learn skills and techniques, followed by a pickleball challenge!
Bay Lake Tower at Disney’s Contemporary Resort offers a similar clinic on Wednesday mornings and
Disney’s Old Key West Resort offers one on Thursday mornings. For all three Resorts' pickleball clinics, you need to visit the respective
Community Hall at these Resorts to reserve a spot. One thing to note is that since these are found on each Resort’s activity schedules, they may be limited to guests staying at these Resorts.
If you’re not a guest of these DVC Resorts, don’t fret! My fellow panelist
Susan has identified other DVC Resorts that offer the opportunity to play pickleball that don’t require you to be a guest of that particular Resort.
