My husband, 2 daughters (1 & 4) and I will be going to DL from Australia in July 2015. I would like to take our girls to World of Color. Is it possible to view it from Ariel's grotto? Around what time does the earlier show usually start? Thank you!

    Hello Marine!

Thanks so much for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I hope you are having a magical week. I’m so excited you are visiting Disneyland Resort all the way from Australia! I just know you will have the best time.

Right now on the Disneyland Resort website the World of Color times are only being shown through early May and only offering one performance time at 9:45pm. These are subject to change at any time and I know previously they have had an earlier show on weekends. I believe the earlier show was around 8:00pm when I visited the parks last fall.

You can see the show from The Little Mermaid ~ Ariel's Undersea Adventure attraction. Many people fill up along the walkway both in front of that attraction and across the way right in front of World of Color. You can try to get a FASTPASS for preferred seating at select dining places with a World of Color dining package if you would like reserved seating as well. Otherwise, I usually head over that way about 30-45 minutes before the show to find a good spot to watch.

I hope this helps and let me know if you have any other questions as your plan your visit!

    See you real soon!
