My husband, daughters (ages 12 & 15), and I visiting Epcot 2 days in August. Can you suggest quick service and snacks to eat around the world rather than table service.

    Hi Kathleen,

My family loves eating around the world at Epcot. I'm happy to share our favorite snacks and quick service locations. We have plenty!

Often, we will simply snack around the World Showcase, picking up a couple of small items to share in each country. We may start with an order of fish and chips from the Yorkshire County Fish Shop in the United Kingdom, followed by a cheese plate or ham and cheese croissant from Les Halles Boulangerie-Patisserie in France. We may grab a giant pretzel or a bratwurst at Sommerfest in Germany.

The sandwiches at Kringla Bakeri Og Kafe in Norway are huge and great for sharing. We often end with a shared order of nachos and perhaps an adult beverage from La Cantina de San Angel in Mexico. (Tip: If La Hacienda de San Angel has not yet opened for dinner, you can take your quick service food from the cantina inside and eat in air-conditioned comfort.)

If we want a full quick service meal, our favorites are Tangierine Cafe in Morocco, Katsura Grill in Japan or Tutto Gusto Wine Cellar in Italy. We also like the variety and quality of the options at Sunshine Seasons in the Land Pavilion. All of these have indoor seating, which can be key for a visit in August.

For sweets, don't miss L'Artisan des Glaces in France or Karamell-Kuche in Germany.

Thanks for your question, Kathleen. I hope that gives you some ideas for tasting a variety of cuisines around Epcot with your family. Please let me know if you want more details on these or any of the Epcot table service restaurants. Enjoy!
