My husband, daughter and I will be staying on site. Can we get separate statements for our magic bands so we can pay for items with different credit cards and gift cards? Or can we attach gift cards to a magic band?

Hello Julia, and thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question.

I am so excited about your visit to the Walt Disney World Resort in just a few weeks! You are a vacation planning rockstar to take care of all the last minute details of your trip before you arrive.

I am happy to tell you that you that each adult on your reservation can have a credit or debit card attached to their MagicBand. When you check in to your resort, make sure you tell the Cast Member that you want to set this up at that time. Each person will set up a pin number to charge food or merchandise to their MagicBand. When the time comes for Express Resort Checkout, each of you will receive an itemized email receipt, as long as you provide an email during the check-in process. I recently returned from a trip with some family members and each of us were able to set this up during check-in. If you want to pay any of the balance of your charges down with a Disney Gift Card, you would need to visit the Front Desk to complete this transaction, since gift cards cannot hold a preauthorized charged like a credit or debit card. I hope that answers your question. If you need any more help before you arrive, please come back and visit us again. Have a wonderful trip.

    See ya real soon,
    Andrea
