    My husband, Daughter (8), and I are staying at the Pops Century Resort for 2 nights and 3 days in Apr. We only stayed 2 days last time when my daughter was 4. It is her birthday and we want to make it special. We are on a budget. Any suggestions?

    We secretly decorated the room with Streamers and decorated the room after our 9 year old went to sleep.  We had picked up a Mickey Mouse doll, and other Disney items at the Disney Store.  We used those items to decorate the room.  The next morning we picked up an It's my Birthday Button at Guest Relations in the Park.  She wore the button all day long.  We went to dinner at 50's Prime Time Cafe and it was incredible.  We didn't have the budget for a Character meal that year but this was awesome.  The server treated her like royalty, and even chastised us for not eating our vegetables.  She requested a Hot Fudge Sundae for her 'cake' and in the ice cream was a lone lit candle as we all sang the Happy Birthday Song.  Hope you have a fabulous trip!!
