My husband, daughter and I will be spending Thanksgiving at Disney and will be having our Thanksgiving dinner at the Yachtsman Steakhouse. What do people typically wear at Thanksgiving dinner at Disney?

    Hi Kim!

You'll see families in casual-dressy wear at the Yachtsman Steakhouse for dinner.

Ladies will be comfortable in a nice dress...sequins would probably be overboard (but girl, if you like sequins, I say GO FOR IT & SPARKLE LIKE A PRINCESS!!), but this is a great opportunity to put on that special pretty dress in the back of the closet that you've been saving! And those shoes, too. You know you've got those gorgeous shoes that you purchased because they were so pretty, but not very practical. I save those exact shoes for dinner in Disney World!  Nice slacks or dark jeans with a lovely blouse are also appropriate for a woman to wear at dinner in the Resorts.

Gentleman should be thinking a button down shirt and slacks or dark jeans. A blazer is nice and I think you'll see many of the men wearing them to dinner at the restaurant for the Holiday. Impressing their partners!

During the Holidays you'll see some kids wearing their Holiday best, but a lot of kids are dressed just like the Parents, the girls in a beautiful dress and the boys in a button down and jeans.

While the family is all dressed up it's a fabulous time to pop into the Parks and get a family portrait taken or schedule a portrait session with a Disney photographer in one of the Resorts!

I hope that you have a beautiful Holiday!
