Hey there, Cailin. Welcome to
planDisney! Thanks for dropping by with your question.
As a
Walt Disney World Annual Passholder myself, I know just how important it is for the whole family to have one. Especially right now with the sale of new Walt Disney World Annual Passes being so limited.
Cailin, I am pretty certain you'll be able to purchase your son a new Walt Disney World Annual Pass once he turns 3 years old but it's a bit of a process. What you'll need to do is reach out to the V.I.Passholder support line either by phone or email requesting an annual pass for your little one. They will then reach back out to you requesting some information. They'll want to see your valid Walt Disney World Annual Passes and things like that. Then, after reviewing you'll more than likely be able to purchase a new pass for your son. I know that this has been the process for other people recently so it shouldn't be a problem however they are being granted on a case-by-case basis. To start the process to get your son a new Walt Disney World Annual Pass you can call 407-WDW-PASS or send an
email directly through the website here.
I know it is bittersweet that your baby is turning 3. I always enjoyed the perk of my daughter being able to get into the Walt Disney World Theme Parks for free when she was little. It was such a nice little perk Mickey Mouse had worked out for us.
I hope we are welcoming another Walt Disney World annual passholder into the mix very soon. If you have any other questions about this, please feel free to stop back by and
ask me. I'm happy to help.
Good luck!
Jackie H.
