    My husband, daughter, and I are hoping to visit WDW in late October 2011, but we won't be able to make our reservations until late August (budget stuff). My question is: Will we be able to still find lodging at WDW within such a short time frame?

    Hello Marie,

    I am always so anxious to make my Resort room reservations because to me, that's truly the "start" of my vacation! Planning is so much fun!

    But just like you, sometimes our wallets don't allow us a ton of time to plan. Fortunately, with over 20 Disney owned and operated Resorts, I think you will be in good shape planning your October trip. Just know that any Special Offers available now may not be when you book. Or if you have your heart set on a specific Resort, they may not have any rooms left. It's the chance you take waiting to reserve. But if you're ok with staying anywhere on property - I know I am - then I think you'll be fine!

    And if it makes you feel better, I have planned a trip to Disney in under four weeks. So if I can do it, you can too!
