Hello Lesley,
Welcome to planDisney, and thanks for dropping by today with such an important question for us to help you with.
As I have a close family member who lives with Crohn's Disease, I can completely understand your concerns for your dear husband's comfort during your upcoming
June holiday staying within the magic of Walt Disney World Resort.Lesley, I have some great information to share with you concerning the
Disability Access Service (DAS) at Walt Disney World Resort! Upon entrance into your first Disney Theme Park, I would suggest stopping by
Guest Relations where your dear husband will be able to discuss his own particular needs with the helpful Cast Members stationed there.
If appropriate, Cast Members will be able to register your husband for the Disability Access Service (DAS), and I'm sure you'll be pleased to hear that if eligible, this DAS registration will last for up to 60 days!
Additionally, I thought you may find it useful to know that Guests can search
Restrooms via the GPS-enabled maps within the
My Disney Experience Mobile App. Simply log in to your My Disney Experience Mobile App, select the
Pin icon (at the bottom of your screen), then access the drop-down menu (at the top of the screen) and select
Restrooms for easy guidance to the nearest facilities.
I sincerely hope that I've been able to provide a little pixie-dusted insight and some reassurance for you and your husband today, Lesley. Please don't hesitate to drop back to
me here at planDisney if you should have any additional enquiries as it's always a pleasure to assist a fellow Guest from the United Kingdom!
Have a great Disney day ~ Jane
