My husband & I are going to a convention in orlando in Feb. My sister just suggested going w/us and taking our 2 1/2 yr old and going to dw. Should we book a disney resort hotel? If so, which could you reccomend so that we can get in and out easily.

Mindy, how lucky for your 2 1/2 year old to have a trip to Walt Disney World!  I strongly suggest a Disney property resort for your stay.  Access to and from all the Disney hotels is fairly simple so that is not an issue.  Staying on property with a young child will be so much easier since you can use the Disney busses to get to all parks.

Each resort is magical with fun things to see and  do so it is a choice more about budget then anything else when choosing.  My favorite resorts in each category are: Grand Floridian (close to the Magic Kingdom), Port Orleans Riverside or French Quarter, and Pop Century.  Perhaps a larger villa with kitchen facilities will fit your needs.  Compare the Disney accommodation choices and call soon for a reservation as they book up quickly.

Have a wonderful trip to Orlando and Walt Disney World!
