My husband and I are considering the transatlantic cruise in April 2010 (kids are ages 6 and 10). How will disney ensure that kids, and our particular concern is adults, will stay entertained during the 8 days at sea (6 of which are consecutive)?

Disney Cruise Line will supply families with a Personal Navigator jam-packed with activities. You'll be able to do as much or as little as you want. To see past activities offered, do a Google search of "Disney Cruise transatlantic personal navigator". I love at-sea days!

    Activities may include:

a talk given by an animator, cooking demonstrations, wine tastings, a multi-day "whodunit" activity, fitness walks and game tournaments.

Families may enjoy taking part in a scavenger hunt or staying up late one night to watch a movie on the Ariel View at the Goofy Pool. There will be bingo, trivia contests, character greetings, karaoke, dance parties, movies in the Buena Vista Theatre, animation lessons, dance classes, lecture series and deck parties. Well, that's just to name a few!

Kids will find the Oceaneer Club and Lab to be a fun place to meet new friends and join in fun activities such as Detective School and making Flubber.

In addition, you may want to see the evening shows in the Walt Disney Theatre and visit the Vista Spa. I'd also take advantage of the extra sea days to have a dinner and brunch at Palo. Even consider High Tea! Take advantage of tours and talks offered as well as enjoying leisurely breakfasts or lunches in the dining room.

You'll also have the time to enjoy a coveted nap in your stateroom followed by a Mickey ice cream bar from Room Service.
