Hello, Amy!
I have five children as well, so I totally understand your question! Walt Disney World offers MAGICAL places to stay for all family sizes. Here are TWO answers to your question:
1. If you are looking for a more economical way to experience a Disney resort, I would recommend staying at a value resort like
Disney's Pop Century Resort and request to stay in two adjoining rooms. Our family likes this because we can save hundreds of dollars, and we have two bathrooms to use for our large family. The disadvantages of this suggestion are that you will not have a living/sitting area or a kitchenette. (NOTE: You will have a small refrigerator.) To be honest, we are never in our room, so it is not important for us to have a living area.
2. If you truly want to experience the elegance of a deluxe resort, I would highly recommend staying in a two-bedroom villa at
Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas- Kidani Village. If you stay on the Savanna, your family can sit on the balcony and watch the animals of Africa roam right in your own backyard! I have stayed here one time, and it was truly incredible!
The Disney Dining Plan is a great way to experience all of the incredible restaurants Walt Disney World has to offer. From time to time, Walt Disney World does offer the FREE Disney Dining promotion. At this time, free Disney Dining is not available, but that could change! I would recommend checking the Disney Parks Blog for all of the up-to-date information about when and If this MAGICAL deal will be offered!
If you have other questions, please let me know!
Have a MAGICAL day!
Wes
