Ahoy, Deborah!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Thanks for stopping by with your question!
You are more than welcome to bring your little one into the theater for the shows. On our first cruise, my daughter was not quite two, and I held her in my lap for the stage shows in the theater. I made sure to pack snacks and toys for her, and sat on a aisle seat in case she got fussy and I needed to make a quick getaway! You'll find that many parents have their littlest cruisers with them for the shows - no worries!
I do encourage you to check out the
It's A Small World Nursery on your first afternoon onboard. Once you see the facilities and meet the counselors, you may change your mind about taking advantage of the Nursery Services. They are top-notch! Our daughter spent an evening in the nursery on our cruise, and we were extremely happy with the experience. We returned from our Palo dinner to find Mulan, in full costume, rocking our sweet sleeping girl. That's probably my favorite Disney Cruise memory of all! Remember that reservations are required and space is limited.
I hope this helps, and that you'll soon be planning a fabulous voyage on the
Disney Dream! Please let me know if you have any more questions. Anchors Aweigh! - Diane W.
