My husband and I are coming to WDW w/ our 4 year old daughter Oct 28th-Nov 5. She will be turning 5 on the trip. Is there somewhere where I can find an itinerary that others have done to make sure we get the most out of our trip?

    Hi Jessica!

Thank you for sending in your question to the Walt Disney World Moms Panel!

I recommend visiting the independent website TouringPlans.com.  That's the website for the research team behind the tour book "The Unofficial Guide to Walt Disney World".  They are famous in the Disney fan community for producing a crowd calendar that predicts the crowd levels in the various parks on various days.  For each day, they recommend what parks to visit and which to avoid.  Their recommendations are based on a lot of math and years of data collection.  As an engineer, I'm a huge fan of their work.  You can use the information to plan out your trip.

Then you should look at their touring plans for the specific parks.  They are step by step instructions to help you get the most out of your vacation by minimizing the amount of time you have to wait in lines.  That said, you are going during a relatively quiet time of the year, so I don't think a touring plan is that critical.  You might start out with one and then abandon it after the first 3 or 4 attractions.

Be sure to make Advanced Dining Reservations for any Table Service (full service) restaurants you want to experience.  ADRs are a must and they can be made online or by calling (407) WDW-DINE.  ADRs can be made up to 180 days in advance.

I hope this helps to get you started!  Please write back with more questions!
