My Husband & I are coming 09/09-09/15 to WDW. How long does it take to do both waterparks? They are open 10am-5pm all the days. Do they take a full 7 hours each? We have the park hopper. Have done all main Schlitterbahn(TX) in 10 hours if that helps. T

    Hi Chelsea,

The water parks are a lot of fun!  I think the time you spend at them is really up to you. We generally arrive at the parks for opening and stay until about 2:00.  My kids like doing some slides over and over, and they like spending a fair amount of time in the wave pool at Typhoon Lagoon.  I think you could do both parks in one day, provided you have your own means of transportation.  If you are relying on Disney transportation, it might be tricky.  There are no buses that go directly from one park to another; you would have to ride to a resort and then transfer to a bus going to the other park.

I know you have tickets with a Park Hopper option.  That will allow you access to Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Animal Kingdom and Hollywood Studios.  In order for your tickets to work at Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon, you need to make sure you have purchased the Water Park Fun and More option.

Hope this helps.  Have a magical vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Diane, Georgia

After spending 25 years in RI, my husband and I relocated to GA with our youngest, who is now in high school. I took my first trip to Walt Disney World when I was 11 and I have traveled many times since then with all different party sizes. From creating our first itinerary as a honeymooner to later creating magical experiences for our multigenerational family gatherings, every aspect of planning a vacation has been pure joy to me.  Learn More About Diane
