My husband and I are coming to WDW Jan-Feb 09 and I would like to plan a special meal for him. Do you have any ideas about a special/romantic experience I could organise?

My husband and I have enjoyed many a date night at Walt Disney World.  I can assure you that there is no shortage of dining and entertainment options to choose from.

I would suggest starting your evening with a meal in one of Disney's signature dining locations.  My personal preference would be Jiko, though Artist Point at the Wilderness Lodge is equally fantastic.  For something even more formal you might enjoy dinner at Victoria and Alberts, which is an adults only restaurant located at the Grand Floridian.

After dinner, perhaps you could surprise him with tickets to see La Nouba (the Cirque du Soleil show) at Downtown Disney.  If you're looking for something more private you may consider reserving a horse-drawn carriage ride by calling 407-WDW-PLAY.

There are also a variety of specialty cruises available.  These cruises will take you and your husband on the water for a private viewing of the fireworks.  You can even order (with a limited selection available) from the in-room dining menu special treats for your cruise.

Have fun on your special night!

Given your inclination to plan a magical trip, I can already tell we have a lot in common. I'm Darcie, and my friends would be the first to tell you that Disney trip planning (especially dining!) is my love language. Of course, the vacations my family enjoys today look much different than they did when our kids were little, but while some of our favorite activities have evolved, Disney destinations still top our travel wish lists. Let's work together to plan a downright dreamy vacation for your family! Learn More About Darcie
