Hey there, Chad! That’s a great question. Thanks for sending it to planDisney!
I love that you and your husband want to enjoy the magic of Disney beyond the theme parks! From dining and shopping to sightseeing and touring, there is so much to do at the Most Magical Place on Earth! As long as you are a
Guest of a Walt Disney World Resort hotel, you may park your car, free of charge, at the hotel (even if you are not visiting the theme parks). Once you’ve parked your car, you are welcome to use complimentary Disney World transportation such as the
Disney Skyliner,
Monorail, buses, and boats!
For example, if you are staying as a Guest of Disney’s Riviera Resort, you may park your car at the hotel and then use the Disney Skyliner to travel to various locations (again, even if you’re not visiting the theme parks)! The same is true of other Disney World hotels as well!
Guests are allowed to park their cars, free of charge, at Disney World Resort hotels if they are there to enjoy dining, shopping, entertainment, or recreational activities. For example, if you and your husband want to enjoy dinner at California Grill at Disney’s Contemporary Resort and then watch the Magic Kingdom fireworks from the rooftop viewing area, you may do so without a parking fee. You can also take a ride aboard the Monorail and stop at the other resort hotels along the Monorail loop.
Enjoy your magical visit, Chad!
Dreams do come true!
