Hi Emma!

Thank you for sending in your question to the Walt Disney World Moms Panel.

The policy at Fort Wilderness for tent rentals is that they will rent tents for groups of 20 or more using Creekside Meadow. However, policy and actual practice do differ. Upon speaking to a Guest Relations member about tent rentals I was told that individuals can rent a tent and a cot as long as they have one available and a group hasn't already made arrangements to rent it. The one proviso is you must stay in Creekside Meadow, which is a natural campsite area. I suggest calling (407) 939-7807 and discussing rentals with them directly.
