    My husband and I are coming to WD in Jan. He is a big Pirate fan is CBR the best place for us even though we are not traveling with kids?

    Hi Pam!

    Believe it or not, I'm pretty sure I know the biggest pirate fan in the world, and while she might be grumpy at me for disclosing her secret, she hasn't been a kid in quite a few years!  Disney Mom Margaret is the most devout pirate-lover I know, and she would agree that the newly-themed pirate rooms at Caribbean Beach Resort are a dream come true for fans of all ages.  The attention to detail paid throughout the rooms is incredible, with a carpet that resembles a wooden plank, treasure chest furniture, pirate ship beds and a variety of other amazing features.  The main pool, complete with a ship-wrecked pirate ship is fantastic, and a wonderful place to spend a leisurely afternoon.  If your husband is a fan of all things pirate, I definitely recommend staying here!

    If you want to add even more magic to your trip, I'd recommend a visit to the Pirate League at Magic Kingdom.  Here, you and your hubby can leave your "land lubber" identities behind as you are transformed into pirates.  Disney Moms Margaret, Anna, Whitney, Jodi and I had a blast getting made-over into Pirate Princesses (without our kids on a girls' getaway weekend) a few months ago! 

    I think it's great that you are able to enjoy an adults-only trip to Disney.  You might want to plan a romantic dinner at one of Disney's signature dining establishments.  Some of my favorite spots for a great meal for two include Jiko at Animal Kingdom Lodge, Artist Point at Wilderness Lodge and California Grille at the Contemporary Resort.
