Hey there, hi there, ho there, Wendy! My warmest welcome to planDisney on this fine morning. Wow, you're less than a month away from arriving at the
Most Magical Place on Earth - how exciting!
Walt Disney World prides itself on its accessibility to all Guests. It sounds like you already know that your husband is the perfect Guest to avail of Walt Disney World's Disability Access Service (DAS). Wendy, as a fellow U.K. resident, I know that preregistering for DAS is unavailable outside of the States, at the moment. Instead, it will take just a few moments when you arrive at any Walt Disney World theme park to speak with
Guest Relations. You will only need to do this once for DAS to be valid for your trip. It's a simple and quick process with very helpful Cast Members. Your husband must be present for the discussion. As he already used DAS, I am sure it will be a similar setup process to what he previously experienced. Cast Members can help with other needs, such as guidance on refrigerating necessary medicine, and you can find more information online for
Guests with additional accessibility requirements ahead of your journey.
Wendy Darling, to quote Peter Pan, 'All the world is made of faith, and trust, and pixie dust.' I wish you and your husband a memorable, joyous, pixie-dusted stay at Walt Disney World. I would love to assist you with any other questions before your adventure! Enjoy the magic of Walt Disney World, Louise.
