Hi! My husband and I are coming to the park Oct. 14th-18th and would like to have a romantic dinner out without our kids. Our anniversary is on the 15th(perfect timing) and would like a really nice night out. Where is the nicest place to go out?

    Hi Kathleen,

Happy anniversary! My husband and I have celebrated many anniversaries at Walt Disney World. I'm happy to give you some recommendations.

One of our favorite spots is the California Grill, which recently reopened after a renovation of the space and the menu. It's even more fabulous now, and the view of the fireworks at Magic Kingdom from atop the Contemporary resort is spectacular.

All that said, California Grill is popular and it's possible that no reservations remain. But no worries. There are many other great choices.

We celebrated my husband's birthday at Artist Point this year and fell in love with the ambiance and the food. We've also had wonderful celebratory dinners at Narcoossee's, Jiku and the Flying Fish Cafe.

You might also want to consider Monsieur Paul in the France pavilion at Epcot. I haven't eaten there yet (maybe this year's anniversary), but I hear from others that the atmosphere is quite romantic and the classic French food is delicious.

I think you will have a romantic celebration at any of these. Make sure you let your server know that it is your anniversary. You may want to look over the menus and the pictures of the interiors to see which appeals most to you. And, of course, you will want to make an advanced dining reservation.

Best wishes, and please let me know if I can answer any other questions for you. Enjoy!
