Hi Nicole, and welcome to planDisney! How exciting that your dream is about to become a reality. You must feel like Rapunzel the very first time she stepped out of her tower and journeyed to see the floating lanterns.
One of the most convenient features of a Walt Disney World vacation is the
online check-in process. Be sure to complete this in your
My Disney Experience account before arrival. I'm already "checked in" for my April stay at
Disney's Pop Century Resort! If you have any room requests like "Ground Floor" or "Near Elevator" this is the place to make them. Even without a
MagicBand you can initially bypass the front desk and
go directly to your resort room by using the
unlock door feature in the
My Disney Experience Mobile App.
At some point, once you are settled in, you'll need to visit the front desk of your resort to pick up Key to the World Cards which will serve as your theme park admission tickets and resort room keys. If you have linked a credit or debit card in My Disney Experience, you can also charge purchases to your room by scanning this card.
Nicole, I am so happy that you and your husband are about to embark on this exciting adventure. March is a wonderful time to visit Florida; the sunny weather is Olaf-approved, and signs of spring are everywhere. Plan to spend some time exploring the topiaries and food booths at the
Taste of EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival. Check out
this Disney Parks Blog post detailing the sweet and savory selections offered throughout World Showcase. YUM!
Thanks for stopping by, and if there is anything else we can do before your journey begins, come see us again. Now go, live your dream!
