My husband is coming home from a long deployment and we will be in Disneyworld Nov 13-20. Any ideas on places to go, eat, shop, and such. I want it to be a wonderful trip where we can reconnect. Thank you for your help!

    Hi Amanda:

Great idea to plan a special vacation to celebrate this reconnection.  I would make a special date night at a signature restaurant.  I highly recommend California Grill atop the Contemporary Resort. California Grill features delicious California Fusion cooking and spectacular views of the Magic Kingdom and the Wishes fireworks show. I would also recommend Le Cellier, a tasty steakhouse at Epcot's Canada Pavilion and Jiko at Animal Kingdom Lodge, which serves dishes influenced by African, Indian, and Mediterranean cuisine.  I would also tour the countries of World Showcase in Epcot and try your favorite or new adult drinks or foods from one of the quick serve kiosks at the pavillions.

I would also make sure you hit the shopping, entertainment, and restaurants at Downtown Disney.   While there, you can take a balloon ride with Characters in Flight in Downtown Disney (a very romantic experience with a breathtaking 360 degree view of Disney World property and beyond.)

To make this vacation special, you can arrange a specialty cruise to enjoy the fireworks, or enjoy a stroll on the Boardwalk and stop by ESPN Club or Jellyrolls

    Enjoy your vacation.
