Hi Megan! Welcome to planDisney!
I'm excited to hear about your upcoming
Land and Sea vacation! Having a chance to explore the parks before setting sail on a magical Disney Cruise Line trip sounds like the ultimate vacation. Let's dive into your question and help you plan for the first leg of your stay.
Four park days is the perfect amount of time to explore all of the theme parks. If you decide against adding the
Park Hopper Option, you can visit one park per day to give yourself a chance to visit each one. Adding the park hopper will allow you to freely come and go to multiple parks a day.
I plugged in your dates to
get current pricing for the options you mentioned. Interestingly enough, the cost to purchase a one-day park hopper ticket with a three-day standard ticket comes out to a few dollars more than purchasing a four-day park hopper ticket (pricing is subject to change at any time). Essentially, you'll receive better value by having access to park hop each day of your trip rather than just the one. The least costly option will be to purchase a four-day park ticket that allows access to one park per day. However, the price difference is not as much as you may think. If park hopping is something you will take advantage of, this may be your best option.
One thing to keep in mind is if you are combining your tickets with a Disney Resorts hotel reservation, you will not have the option to pick and choose which days to add the park hopper. Either you add it for all of your park days or you opt not to include it at all.
Megan, I hope this information helps you plan for your stay!
