My husband and I are coming down for our honeymoon for a whole week! We have the deluxe dining plan to help us enjoy dining experiences on our trip. We're very excited and wondering if you had any suggestions for dining during our romantic get away? Thanks

  • Hello fellow Lauren!

Congratulations!  This question truly made me smile as I also spent my honeymoon at the Walt Disney World Resort.  I can tell you from experience there is something extra magical and romantic about a "Disneymoon" vacation and choosing to add the Deluxe Disney Dining Plan was genius! There are so many delicious dining locations to choose from, planning our meals is one of my favorite activities.

I suggest booking at least one character dining experience. Although I thought we may feel a little silly, the characters were wonderful and the interactions and photos are some of our most cherished memories. We adored Chef Mickey's, Tusker House Restaurant and the Akershus Royal Banquet Hall. For a romantic evening and delectable fine dining, I highly recommend the California Grill or Narcoossee's. The options at these restaurants are absolutely superb and if you time your dinner just right, you can finish your meal enjoying the picturesque view of Wishes Nighttime Spectacular illuminating the grand Cinderella Castle. In my opinion, it doesn't get much better than celebrating your Fairy Tale with the Most Magical Place on Earth as your backdrop.

I hope your vacation is everything you dreamed it to be.  If there is anything else we may assist you with, please let us know.

    Magical Wishes,

    Lauren
