Hi, Mary-Beth! Welcome (back) to planDisney.
Oh, how fun that you and your husband are coming to The Most Magical Place on Earth this December!
Disney at Christmas is extra special. There are twinkling lights everywhere you look, festive music to fill your ears with nostalgia, and seasonal treats to delight those taste buds.
Right now,
Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away parade is set for 8:00 PM and 10:00 PM most nights. The big thing to know is that it doesn't run on nights when
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is happening (December 2, 4, 5, 7, 9, 11, 12, 14, 16, 18, 19, and 21). So if your visit happens to land on a party night, the parade won't be on, but if not, those 8 and 10 times are when it should run. The website doesn't have the times posted for December yet, but keep an eye on it, and it should hopefully be updated soon.
If you want a good spot, I'd get there about 45–60 minutes early. Main Street U.S.A. fills up fast, especially with all the holiday crowds, so snagging your spot early makes it way more enjoyable.
Pro tip: If you're flexible, the 10 PM parade can be a little less crazy than the 8 PM one. Lots of families with little ones leave after the first parade, so you might get a prime spot without having to wait forever.
Happy planning, Mary-Beth. Thanks for stopping by planDisney.
Mike
