My husband and I are coming to Disneyland for our 10 year anniversary and I would love to know what the top ideas are to celebrate, both free and paid, and any not so well known ideas? We want to celebrate true disney style. Thanks

    Hi, Joel!

I’m glad to hear you’re planning an anniversary visit to The Happiest Place on Earth! If you’re staying at one of the three Disneyland Resort hotels, an in-room celebration would be a magical addition to your trip. From gift baskets and bouquets to room decorations and desserts, the Disney Dream Makers offer many gift ideas for a special welcome. Call (714) 781-GIFT for more information.

My pick for a quiet meal for two is Carthay Circle Restaurant at Disney California Adventure Park. When I dined there for the first time, I was star-struck by the romantic 1930s Hollywood atmosphere. It’s on the second floor of the park’s reproduction of Carthay Circle Theatre, which was where Walt Disney’s Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs premiered. If you book an outdoor table at the right time, you may catch a glimpse of Disneyland Park’s fireworks show lighting up the night sky during your gourmet meal!

Be sure to enjoy the activities that can be overlooked on a theme park vacation, whether it’s seeing a late-night show, relaxing at the pool with a cold drink, taking a leisurely stroll through all of the shops and galleries on Main Street, U.S.A.. If you want an escape from the hustle and bustle of the theme parks to enjoy some pampering, treat yourselves to a couples massage at Mandara Spa, located at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa.

Pick up a complimentary anniversary button for each of you when you visit the parks. Also, if you have any table-service meals planned, don’t forget to tell your server you’re celebrating a special occasion! To order a custom cake as an extra special treat to enjoy after your meal, call (714) 781-DINE (3463).

I hope this helps, Joel. Please feel free to ask me more questions as you continue to plan your pixie-dusted romantic getaway!

    Wishing you magic,
    Courtney
