My husband and I are coming to Disneyland with my niece's family and we want to reserve our lightening lanes as a group. How do we link our accounts?

    Hello, Melissa,

Excellent! A visit to The Happiest Place on Earth sounds like the perfect activity for an extended family vacation.

You may coordinate Lightning Lane bookings for all theme park admission media linked to your account in the Disneyland mobile app. To allow someone else to link your current tickets to their account, open the app to the Tickets and Passes screen. Display each of your tickets for the other person to scan with the phone camera using their Disneyland app opened to the Tickets and Passes screen. If the “Link Tickets & Passes” button isn’t showing on the other app, tap the ‘+’ button in the upper right-hand corner of the Tickets and Passes screen. Then choose Camera or Type ID to scan a ticket barcode or to type in the ticket ID manually, respectively.

Perform the same steps to link from the second account to the first. Once all tickets are linked to the various designated account holders, you can take turns booking Lightning Lane return times for each other, including for attractions featured in the Disney Genie+ service and individual Lightning Lanes.

Tony’s Tip: Since you are all visiting together and will likely have Genie+, you may end up having a lot of Disney PhotoPass taken together. To save time at the end of a photo session, ask a PhotoPass photographer for a PhotoPass card to use for all of your group photos after that. Then, link that one PhotoPass card to accounts associated with both of your families. Do that from the ‘+’ menu at the bottom of the screen in the Disneyland mobile app by selecting “Link PhotoPass Photos” and choosing “Link PhotoPass Card.” As you get more PhotoPass photos taken together after that, you will only need to have the photographer scan the shared card rather than scan the PhotoPass card on an account from each separate family in your group. Since the card will be linked to all of the accounts that you want, the new photos will automatically be linked to all accounts at the same time.

I hope you have a marvelous time making magical memories with your family and your niece’s family, Melissa!
