Hi! My husband and I are coming to Disney World with our two young teens ages twelve and fourteen. We have a Park Hopper for the week. On one of our days, we plan to walk from Hollywood Studios to Epcot. Are there signs to help keep us on the right path?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Jennifer!

Many guests use Walt Disney World® Water Transportation between the theme parks. However, you can certainly opt for a leisurely stroll via the wide sidewalk between Disney's Hollywood Studios and the International Gateway entrance to Epcot instead. Depending on your pace, and barring any side stops, it can take about 30 minutes to make the stroll. It is a much faster way since the Friendship Launch boats make three resort stops in between the two parks and the entire journey takes 40 to 50 minutes before reaching Epcot.

The walking pathway along the waterway is well marked, as well as well-lit at night, and it takes you through Disney's BoardWalk. Depending on your Epcot plans, I recommend stopping for snacks and refreshments at Ample Hills Creamery on the way. Alternatively, veer left on the pathway to walk through Disney's Yacht Club & Beach Club Resorts instead; where you can order the legendary Kitchen Sink Dessert at Beaches & Cream Soda Shop or drinks and snacks at Hurricane Hanna's Waterside Bar & Grill.

Did You Know? The My Disney Experience mobile app "Get Directions" feature is an excellent resource when trying to determine best routes throughout the Walt Disney World Resort. This very useful component is integrated within the interactive map and list views of the app.

Wishing you a most unforgettable visit to the Walt Disney World Resort!
