My husband and I are coming to Disney in Jan '12 and we are trying to decide between port orleans riverside and french quarter. Which resort is better for a couple with no children who want some romance and quiet?

    Hi Laura,

While both resorts are beautiful, I would choose Port Orleans French Quarter if I were traveling with my husband and wanting a romantic atmosphere. French Quarter is the smallest of the moderate resorts. Less people generally means less noise. The theme is inspired by the romance and pageantry of the historic French Quarter in New Orleans. You'll find balconies with ornate railings, cobblestone walkways and jazz music in the background. It's simply beautiful.

Wishing you a wonderfully relaxing vacation with your husband,
