my husband and i are coming to disney 10/22-10/29, its his first time ever. do you have to check into the hotel before visiting the park or no?

    Hi Kristal!

Thank you for sending in your question to the Walt Disney World Moms Panel!

If you have a package reservation, meaning a room and tickets, then you do have to stop by your Disney Resort hotel to check-in first.  However, you can stop by at any time and while your room may not be ready, you can pick up your theme park tickets.  If your room isn't ready when you check-in (let's say because you are checking in very early in the day) then you can just leave your luggage with Bell Services at the resort and then head off to the parks to play.

If you already have theme park tickets then you can just head straight to the parks and check-in later.  I have an Annual Pass and when I go solo, I just head to my favorite park, the Magic Kingdom, and usually don't show up at my hotel until very late in the night!

I hope this helps!  Please write back with more questions!
