Hi, Mandy! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
What an exciting and magical age to visit Walt Disney World Resort! As I don’t know the specifics of your vacation (ie: where you are staying, if you plan to visit a Disney Theme Park alone with the twins), I will try my best to give you some general tips.
I can only assume that you will be bringing your own double stroller, but if you aren’t Walt Disney World Resort offers rentals and there are also outside vendors that supply double rental strollers as well. Simply walking about the grounds of your Disney Resort hotel or at Disney Springs is often very engaging for youngsters!
I know you mentioned that you wanted to stay away from swimming. However, some Disney Resort hotels have Splash Pad areas, such as Disney’s Art of Animation Resort, where your little ones could toddle or crawl without you having to hold them! Also, some Disney Resort hotels have sandy beaches where the twins can play, although they won’t have access to swim at the beach. Bring a few beach pails and shovels, or purchase some there and the kiddos will be entertained!
If you plan on visiting a Disney Theme Park, I would suggest a few Character Meet & Greets as trying to take two 9-month-olds on an attraction might be difficult by yourself, although totally do-able! If you purchase Memory Maker, you will capture some great images of the littles! Remember when you need a break, to change a diaper, or catch your breath, each Disney Theme Park has a
Baby Care Center!
