My husband is coming back from deploy. and we have made a trip to take our 20 m/o in July. We go every year, but this is our first time at POR royal rooms. Is this a good pick for a little girl that age, and is it far from the main pool and lobby?

Disney's Port Orleans Resort- Riverside's Royal Guest Rooms are perfect for a princess of any age! I stayed in a Royal Room for a girl's weekend for Princess Half Marathon weekend last year. It was super convenient to walk from our room to the Ol' Man Island pool area as well as the Sassagoula Steamboat Company (aka the main building that houses the lobby, dining options, and shop). Be sure to take some time to stroll around the resort, or walk over to the French Quarter section for beignets and other New Orleans-inspired goodies at Sassagoula Floatworks & Food Company! I think Port Orleans Resort is going to be the perfect choice for your very special vacation.
