My husband and I are coming for our 25th anniversary during what traditionally has been Pop Warner week. How early can you determine which resorts they will be using? We are looking for a quieter experience since we are leaving our teens at home. Thanks

    Hi Teri!

Pop Warner Football does not have that much affect on the four parks of Walt Disney World because the young athletes and cheer leaders spend a good deal of time at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex playing and cheering. They do get to go to the parks, but the crowd impact is minimal because the beginning of December is a lower crowd time at Walt Disney World. The only place where you might see the impact of Pop Warner is at the Value Resorts where most of the Pop Warner Guests choose to stay.

If you are looking for a great place to stay on Walt Disney World Property, then I would recommend trying a Moderate Resort. The Moderate Resorts are a little more money per night, but they are all wonderful. My favorite Moderate Resort is Port Orleans Resort-French Quarter.  French Quarter is a smaller resort and it it tends to be quieter and laid back.

I hope that your next Walt Disney World vacation is truly magical in every way!

    Keep Dreaming Big!
