    My husband is cilivian Department of Defense and we are not eligible for military salute tickets that we can get on base like we did when he was active duty. My question is he is set to retire soon will we be eligible again after he retires?

    Marcia, unfortunately, the military promotional offer for tickets currently applies to active duty, 100% disabled veterans,  and retirees after 20+ years of service. At this time, there are no Department of Defense offers, however, Walt Disney World does offer seasonal promotions depending on the time of year. Currently, if you book a vacation between now and July 7, 2022, you could save up to $500 on a 5-night stay at select Disney Resort Collection hotels! That is up to $100 a night in savings! For more information, be sure to check out the information here and look at the Disney Resorts that are a part of this offer. You cannot go wrong with any resort, they are all wonderful! I recommend Disney's Pop Century Resort, Disney's Port Orleans Resort-French Quarter, and Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge as some resort options!
