My husband and I will be celebrating our wedding anniversary while on our upcoming cruise in Europe. We were wondering if it is possible to have the kids in the Oceaneer club while we are in port one day, or do we have to be on the boat?

    Congratulations, Becky!

Thank you for allowing us to be part of your Wedding Anniversary plans. Traveling to Europe and cruising in those waters on the Disney Cruise is pure joy! I am so excited for you and your family to be making these wonderful memories with Captain Mickey and his crew. You've got some great adventures waiting for you!

One of the great advantages of sailing on the Disney Cruise, is that the Youth Clubs are available for your use while at the Port and while at sea. And all this is included in the base price of your cruise. You are most definitely able to leave the kids onboard to enjoy the days' activities at the Oceaneer Club, while you and your husband enjoy your Anniversary Date at one of the fabulous ports of call. This is really convenient, especially if you sail during the hot & humid summer months, and you know that the kids might be miserable on land. Our young cruisers seem to not have a problem being left at the Oceaneer Club for the day. Who can blame them? There's tons of activities and it varies each day. Their day is also enjoyed by those special visits made by the Disney characters on board. You know that the kids will also be well taken cared of, since the Youth Counselors are just plain awesome with the kids. At dinner time, I love hearing about my kids' adventures during the day. It's a long report with lots of funny snippets of where they went, what they did, and who they met. Our dinner time conversation is what I look forward to the most, after a day out at the port.

Happy Wedding Anniversary, Becky! Wishing you a most magical anniversary celebration on your voyage.

Please let us know if you need additional planning help. We're always happy to add sprinkles to your already pixie dusted cruising plans.

    Bon voyage!
