Hello! My husband and I are celebrating our wedding Anniversary at Disney world at the end of August. We have the Disney Deluxe Dining Plan but will not use all of our entitlements on some days. Can you switch meal entitlements to snack credits? Thanks!

Hi there, Sarah! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Thanks for stopping by and allowing us to help you plan your Walt Disney World Resort vacation!

First of all, I want to wish you and your husband a very happy anniversary! My husband and I always celebrate our own wedding anniversary at Walt Disney World Resort as well and I personally believe that it is the best place for any type of celebration!

The Disney Dining Plan is also a great way to enhance your experience while visiting Walt Disney World Resort! These pre-paid meal plans allow Guests to go ahead and pay for their meal expenses prior to arriving. This reduces the amount of stress around budgeting during your trip and allows you to just enjoy some delicious food while on vacation! There are even three different levels of the Disney Dining Plan so your family can pick which one is the right fit!

The Disney Deluxe Dining Plan offers a lot of bang for your buck! Each Guest over the age of three years will receive three Meal Credits and two Snack Credits for each night of their reserved package. This may seem like a lot but there is quite a bit of flexibility in how you spend your Meal Credits! Meal Credits on the Disney Deluxe Dining Plan may be used at both quick-service dining locations and table-service dining locations. In addition, one Meal Credit may also be “traded in” for three Snack Credits as long as the dining location accepts it! So, you are welcome to redeem unused Meal Credits as Snack Credits prior to your departure!

Have fun snacking around Walt Disney World Resort!
