My husband and I will be celebrating our son's 5th birthday at WDW in June 2012. Which character meals would be more suited towards boys? Although I'm sure my sons would enjoy dining with princesses, they would much rather dine with Buzz and Woody!

    Hi Kristin!

I am a lucky mom of THREE boys, so I totally understand!  It seems as though everywhere you turn, another princess is just around the corner!  While I would give anything to have a Toy Story or Pirate themed character meal, sadly there aren't any that are geared specifically towards boys.  I've found that my crew really likes Donald's Safari Breakfast in Disney's Animal Kingdom.  The gang is all dressed for a safari and the decor feels more "boy friendly."  Of course, we also love good old Chef Mickey's in the Contemporary Resort - every meal is a celebration!

You may also want to look into the Rainforest Cafe in either Downtown Disney or Animal Kingdom or the T-Rex Cafe, also located in Downtown Disney.  Both are great fun, although not truly character meals.  Oooh, we also enjoy cutting up with Lilo and Stitch at breakfast at 'Ohana in the Polynesian Resort.  Happy, happy birthday to your little man!

    Much pixie dust,
