    Hi Chelsea!

Thank you for sending in your question to the Walt Disney World Moms Panel.  First you will need a place to stay!  A few places quickly come to mind:
    • Animal Kingdom Lodge - a 5 year old would love seeing all of the exotic animals right outside the resort
    • Beach Club - while it may not sound like an ideal resort for a 5 year old, it is if you are visiting when it is warm outside (and it should be warm in March).  That's because the Beach Club has the best pool in all of Walt Disney World.  Stormalong Bay is a sand bottom pool and there is a sand island in the middle that young children absolutely love.  When my youngest son was 5 years old, he wanted to spend the entire vacation at Stormalong Bay!
    • Any of the Magic Kingdom monorail resorts - staying at the Grand Floridian, the Polynesian, or the Contemporary would provide you easy access to the Magic Kingdom and, via a monorail transfer at the Transportation and Ticket Center, to Epcot.  I think a 5 year old would love the Contemporary or the Polynesian more than the Grand Floridian.
With regards to where to go, you will probably spend a lot of time in the Magic Kingdom.  Not only is it the crown jewel of the Walt Disney World Resort, but it is usually the favorite park of young guests.  You can easily spend two whole days in the Magic Kingdom.  However, I only suggest spending one.  That's because I think you should see the other parts of Walt Disney World.  My youngest son also loved Epcot and Disney's Hollywood Studios when he was 5 years old.  If your daughter really loves animals, you should also visit Disney's Animal Kingdom.

I hope this helps!  Our answer are limited in length and I know this barely scratches the surface.  Write back with more questions, and you can send the questions directly to me!
