My husband and I will be celebrating his birthday and our 35th anniversary the weekend before Christmas. I am looking for your suggestion for the best, not crazy priced dinner spot in Epcot or the Magic Kingdom. Love Coral Reef, how is the Mexican spot?TY

    Hello, David,

May I be the first to wish you and your husband a Happy 35th Anniversary!  Since you'll be celebrating at Epcot, I think making your meal a special one is important,so I'd try to have your dinner overlap Illuminations: Reflection of Earth so you can enjoy both occasions together.  To do this, there are a few options.  My first thought is the new Mexican restaurant La Hacienda de San Angel. It is a beautiful restaurant with delicious food. It is also has some spectacular views of the Illuminations from within the restaurant.  A second choice is also a new restaurant Spice Road Table at Morocco that captures many flavors of the Mediterranean and also has many tables with views of Illuminations. Rose & Crown Dining Room is in the United Kingdom and offers traditional English foods. It, too, has some tables with views of the fireworks on the waterfront. I also think these restaurants have a variety of menu options at different prices so you could keep your dining within a budget you are comfortable with.

When you arrive at the restaurant, make sure to request a table with views of Illuminations and to mention your anniversary celebration.  In fact, you could even call 407-WDW-DINE beforehand to ask that a note be included in your reservation.  While I can't guarantee a table with a view, I'll be sending you some virtual pixie dust that it all works out.

Happy early anniversary and may you have a magical trip!  -Kara
