My husband and I will be celebrating our 15th anniversary in October 2009, we aren't able to visit WDW until Jan 30, 2010....can I still list our anniversary as something to celebrate on our reservation? Thanks...panel is so great!

    Susan:

Happy Anniversary!  My husband and I are celebrating our 15th this year, too!

Like you, we weren't able to go to Disney in April for our exact wedding anniversary.  (The guilt of missing so many end-of-school activities would have defeated our efforts!)  But we still wanted to do something extra special.

We booked our anniversary trip for September at Port Orleans French Quarter, which fellow Disney Mom Margaret agreed was a good choice for a romantic getaway.  When the reservationist asked what I was celebrating, I told her our anniversary--but a few months late.  She reassured me with, "If you're celebrating, we're celebrating!"

I don't know that I could say it any better!  So by all means, let Disney know the reason for your trip!  You never know when some pixie dust may come your way!

    Wishing y'all a magical vacation--and anniversary!

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
