My husband and I will be celebrating our anniversary this May at WDW. What recommendations do you have to make this trip extra special? Thanks in advance!

    Congratulations on your anniversary Valerie!
I can't think of anyplace more magical to celebrate your marriage. Most people underestimate how romantic the Walt Disney World Resort can be. By far, my favorite way to celebrate something special is a specialty cruise that includes a perfect view of IllumiNations: Reflections on Earth. You can even add a celebration banner and add simple or elaborate private dining services to make it even more spectacular. Another great option is an evening carriage ride along the Sassagoula River or through the Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground.

You can add a surprise to any point of your trip by contacting Disney Floral & Gifts. These romance wizards can create in-room magic with a special delivery or make wishes come true at a table service dining venue. You can make the celebration sweeter with a specialty cake designed and delivered just for you and your spouse.

I hope these ideas are helpful as you begin planning your magical anniversary at the Walt Disney World Resort.

    See ya real soon!

I have traveled to the Disney Parks in multiple stages of my life, including as a daughter, sister, aunt, mother and grandmother.  One of my favorite things to do is to travel with multi-generational groups. I am thrilled to be able to help other Disney guests plan their adventures. Learn More About Anne
