Hi! My husband and I are celebrating our 25th Anniversary in December, 1st time without kids! We have park reservations for Animal Kingdom and a Candlelight Processional dinner package at 12:15 in Epcot. Can we park hop for that? Thanks!!

Hi Kim! On behalf of planDisney, happy anniversary! There are few sights and sounds more beautiful at the Walt Disney World Resort than the Candlelight Processional at EPCOT! You’ve made an excellent choice by adding this touching event to your vacation!

In order to park hop from Disney’s Animal Kingdom to EPCOT, you will need to purchase a park hopper ticket. Once you purchase your park hopper ticket, you will need to make your Disney Park Pass reservation for the park you are visiting first. In your case, that would be Disney’s Animal Kingdom! After you visit Disney’s Animal Kingdom, you can then park hop to EPCOT later in the day. Park hopping officially begins at 2:00 PM. You do not need to make a Disney Park Pass reservation for the park you plan to hop to. In your case, that is EPCOT!

Enjoy that first-ever Walt Disney World Resort vacation without your kids! And, don’t forget, you can pick up complimentary “anniversary” buttons for you and your husband in any of the Disney Parks! Just stop by Guest Relations and inform them that you are celebrating your anniversary!
