Greetings, Pat and from all of us here at planDisney let me offer you an early Congratulations on your forty year fairytale! There is no better place to celebrate than the Walt Disney World Resort and I’m happy to help you build a Magical trip.
Pat, I love staying in the Magic by selecting a
Disney Resorts Collection hotel, so let’s talk about a few that might fit as perfectly as Cinderella’s glass slipper.
First, since you mentioned Disney’s Animal Kingdom, I encourage you to take a look at
Disney’s Animal Kingdom Villas- Kidani Village. Here you can find a variety of room options including
deluxe studio rooms, 1-Bedroom, 2-Bedroom and 3-Bedroom Villas. With live animals roaming the savanna only steps from your room, this resort is like an otherworldly oasis and the perfect relaxing escape. This resort also houses one of my favorite restaurants at the Walt Disney World Resort:
Sanaa. With a robust flavor palate, you’ll find interesting menu items including the Indian-Style bread service.
Pat, another resort that I’ll highlight for your consideration is
Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa. As you mentioned villas around a lake, you’ll find gorgeous water views at this property and quick access to
Disney Springs. If you decide that Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa might be the anniversary getaway you are hoping for, I recommend
booking a villa in the “preferred” category as this location provides convenient access to the Front Desk, dining and the walkway to Disney Springs.
A few other options from the Disney Resorts Collection that are situated near the water can be found around Crescent Lake.
Disney’s Yacht Club Resort,
Disney’s Beach Club Resort and
Disney’s BoardWalk Villas are neighboring resorts that all sit proudly around Crescent Lake and boast the option to walk into EPCOT through the International Gateway. I love the atmosphere and energy you’ll find around this area not to mention the access to
the Disney Skyliner.
Pat, I hope this helps jumpstart your anniversary plans. Once you’ve made a decision about a resort, you are welcome to
book online and create a vacation package including any theme park tickets you might wish to purchase. Please come on back to planDisney with any other questions. My fellow panelists and I love to talk about dining recommendations, understanding the new
Disney Park Pass system and much, much more!
Best wishes, Pat and again, congratulations. Forty years is certainly something to celebrate!
Lauren
